About Holy Trinity
Holy Trinity was the first United Lutheran congregation to be organized in south St. Louis County and conducted its first services on Sunday, February 4, 1957.
In March 1957, the church steering committee chose the name Holy Trinity. Services were held at Reavis School in Affton, Missouri.
In July, 1957, the permanent site for Holy Trinity was chosen. The Reverend Ivan C. Ross was called to become pastor of the church in December of 1957.
On August 23, 1959, ground breaking service was held by the building committee. First service in new building held on August 7, 1960 with Pastor Samuel Jenson presiding.
Pastor Krueger installed on August 11, 1968. Congregation becomes self-supporting.
December 5, 1971, ground breaking service for educational building. November 12, 1972 educational building dedicated.
April 25, 1982 Dedication of 25th Anniversary bell tower.
July 1984, ground breaking ceremony for new Sanctuary. Dedication Day for new Sanctuary, May 1986.
Pastor Krueger announces his retirement effective June 30, 1988.
Pastor Hoy installed 1999.
